Molly

Miss Molly is a bit shy with those she has just met but warms up in no time and will want to be by your side at all times. She is a loving, happy girl who rewards her humans with adorable full body wiggles and a gummy grin. She recently had all of her rotten teeth removed so she is now officially toothless and much more comfortable! She is somewhat outside potty trained and will hold her bladder for long stretches but has had occasional number 2 accidents. Her favorite thing is to snuggle with her humans. She is indifferent to dogs and could easily be in a home with or without them. She is apprehensive around fast movements and lots of activity so her perfect home would be quieter and slower paced.Molly is kennel trained, leash trained and not a huge barker. Her ideal home would be an older family that is home a lot, she wants to cuddle and hang out with her people. If Molly sounds like the perfect pup for you please email puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com and put MOLLY in the subject line. We will send you an application in the next 3-5 days.

Eric

If you’re looking for a big cuddle bug, this is your dog! Eric loves ALL of the people, especially kids! He is very gentle and great about plopping down on the ground for pets (although he may sneak in a lick or two). He is a big Baloo and a huge wiggle worm! He does great with other dogs and loves to carry his favorite toy with him on his walks! He does great on car rides and loves to go byebye!
Eric had a little extra junk in the trunk and did not have a lot of hind end strength when he came to Puplandia. He’s lost weight and gained a lot of strength but still has some work to do. The right family for him will keep up his daily long walks (short walks during the day and he is up to 2 miles in the evenings). To prevent a cruciate tear or injury, the Vet is advising on leash walks only - no running, Rough housing, swimming for another 5 months! ZERO off leash backyard horse play! If he plays to hard he will hurt himself. He will need a family dedicated to getting him lean and fit!
He loves to watch kids play and ride their bikes while he lays in the grass. He is very smart and will do pretty much anything for a treat! He loves positive praise and just wants to be a good boy! He loves to be by his people and will be your shadow around the house.
He is kennel trained and house broken. Squeaky toys, balls and bully sticks are a few of his favorite things! Eric requires health insurance ( we have already purchased and will transfer to the new owner) While his lack of muscle and being overweight is not prexistinig we often see dogs with these issues have major leg issues that require surgery later – with insurance Erics forever family will have the cost of surgery covered and need to help rehab him.
(potential issues down the line wouulud be a torn ACL, called torn cruciate ligament)
If you think Eric sounds like the perfect pup please email puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com and put ERIC in the subject line. We will send you an application in 3-5 days.

Adoption Info

  • Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).

  • The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption.  Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.

  • Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.

  • As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications.  We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.

  • We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies.  We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.

  • The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:

-Puppy (Under 1 year old) $400 Fee (Plus a $200 Spay/Neuter Deposit for puppies under 4 months of age.

-Adult dogs  (1 + Years old) $300 Fee

  • The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption.  All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
