Important Update:
Bodie has pee accidents in his sleep. It’s never a full release, it’s always when he’s sleeping (so at his Foster’s home this means always in the kennel).
He went to a specialist to see if we could find an issue on ultrasound, we didn’t. He’s been on Proin and we hoped it would fix the problem but it hasn’t.
He can wear a diaper or a belly band.
Our fear is that this “issue” means he won’t find a forever family … but please keep reading he’s such an amazing dog.
Bodie loves to hang out. He’s the dog that can go anywhere with you. Live outdoor music, outdoor coffee chitchat with a friend, dog friendly bar hopping… he’s your boy! If you have a dinner party and he has to be in his kennel he has major FOMO and will bark in his kennel ( this is the only time we have found he barks in his kennel). Bodie will fence bark at other dogs but when meeting other dogs is a joy. Silly boy.
Bodie is fostered with kiddos from 15 months - 6 years, 2 cats and 3 dogs and loves everyone.
Bodie came to us as a skinny unhealthy stray that was losing weight and then not gaining. After all the tests and food trials we figured it out … he needs ALL beef food.
He loves to wrestle with other dogs, he loves to sunbathe. He’s the perfect blend of Great Pyrenees and yellow lab … please research this breed and their escape and wandering tendencies. JUMPS FENCES

Bodie is a total love, everyone who meets him gets a cuddle.
He would love to go on hikes with you or go to the river.

Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).

The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption. Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.

Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.

As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications. We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.

We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies. We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.

The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:
-Puppy (1 year or younger) $550 Fee
-Adult dogs (2+ years old) $450 Fee

The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption. All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
