Available for Adoption

Griff is a wonderful loving boy who is looking for a forever home where he can thrive. He needs a strong pack leader with a solid routine to help him remember his only responsibilities are to snuggle, play fetch and be the best boy he can be. In his ideal home, he would have a fenced back yard with unlimited tennis balls, be allowed on the furniture and be given lots of snuggle opportunities. Griff is moderately active and he loves outdoor adventures. A family that goes for walks or runs and camps or hikes would be a match made in heaven. Griff has lived with other dogs in the past, but struggles with confidence in being part of a diverse and changing group, so we are looking for a home where he will be the only dog. He would thrive best not needing to worry about lots of variables in day to day life, so we are also recommending children over the age of 12 to be his best fit. He is kennel trained and knows all his basic commands, but has the brains to learn more tricks or try new challenges like agility or other brain work if given the opportunity. He enjoys spending his down time chewing on a bully stick and napping with a snuggle buddy or just hanging with his people.

Adoption Info

  • Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).

  • The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption.  Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.

  • Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.

  • As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications.  We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.

  • We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies.  We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.

  • The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:

-Puppy (Under 1 year old) $400 Fee (Plus a $200 Spay/Neuter Deposit for puppies under 4 months of age.

-Adult dogs  (1 + Years old) $300 Fee

  • The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption.  All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
