Willa is crazy smart but has her own agenda. She requires a smart owner that knows how to keep a boundary.
Willa came to us with ZERO manners, no recall, and not able to read dog body language. This can quickly get her into trouble if left ignored.
After spending two weeks with our trainer, we have learned so much about her, and she has learned so much.
She’s not a project, she’s a lifestyle.
She is looking for an active, hiker maybe a Runner? Someone who will love to train and have a trick dog?
For the right persons she will be so much fun!
Willa’s perfect family will need to be a family that wants a happy dog, the family needs to be calm, confident full of love and joy… she will soak up all your energy and behave accordingly.
Willa LOVES the water, is now perfect on the leash and would be a great adventure dog!

Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).

The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption. Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.

Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.

As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications. We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.

We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies. We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.

The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:
-Puppy (Under 1 year old) $450 Fee (Plus a $200 Spay/Neuter Deposit for puppies under 4 months of age.
-Adult dogs (1 + Years old) $350 Fee

The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption. All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
