Winston

Fixed Up to date on shots

Microchipped

Winston will not qualify as an ESA or Service dog

Health Insurance required

We only adopt within an hour of the Portland Metro Area

Winston needs a neat and tidy home – for this reason NO little kids, teenagers are great – Winston puts everything in his mouth and swallows it causing an obstructions --- He had 18 inches of intestine removed along with some mystery object --- to avoid a HUGE medical bill if this happens again, health insurance is required. You pick your own insurance, company range is price and what they will cover. This sweet boy is great with dogs, curious and happy to play with cats (zero aggression to the cats just big and goofy and some cats are not ok with that). When meeting new people Winston can be shy but within 5 min and a treat he is in your lap to cuddle you. Loves walks but still learning how to walk nice on the leash, would make an amazing running partner with some work, always wants to be active – looking for a hiking partner, Winston could be your buddy! Winston is potty and kennel trained. Very active and happy go lucky lab puppy. Winston would not be a good first time dog owner dog.

If Winston sounds like a perfect match please email us at puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com with "Winston" as the subject line for an application - or use the button below to fill out our contact form.

WILLOW

Sit Means Sit (SMS) lifetime training contract gifted and required to continue

Willow will thrive in a home as an only dog with play times with other dogs. No cats, loves ALL HUMANS!!! Great with kids, teenagers, all adults! She is happy and content to snuggle on the couch, but also loves playing. Willow would love to be your walking partner - she loves going on hikes and walks around the neighborhood.
Willow is really smart and loves to learn. Willow comes with a lifetime training package at Sit Means Sit and her training is required to continue. She had some impulse control issues and would jump on people - the training has fixed these issues and a her new family will need to keep up with that. Please look into the program and make sure you're willing to continue this amazing gift of training and in their training boundaries.
Willow enjoys playing fetch with the tennis ball and does well coming back. She needs to work on her "drop it" but is learning with the SMS training.
She will watch TV like a person.
Willow is kennel trained and potty trained. Sometimes she whines when left alone, but quiets when asked.
Heels really well (again thanks to her training).
Tolerant of hugs and kisses.- who wouldn't want to snuggle that face?
She needs to polish up her manners a tiny bit more (like not jumping when excited). She likes to paw at you sometimes. It's gentle, but she has big heavy paws. (that's why we are giving free lifetime training that the family must continue).

If Willow sounds like a perfect match please email us at puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com with "Willow" as the subject line for an application - or use the button below to fill out our contact form.

Have you followed Dexter's journey with Puplandia? 41 pounds lost, 31.5 inches lost, bilateral TPLO surgery complete, rehabilitation done and now Dexter is looking for his forever home. His perfect home would be one that has lots of snuggles and love, enjoys helping this happy guy learn new leash skills, continue with his daily walks and wants to help him continue on his journey of happiness and health. Dexter is most comfortable around teenagers and adults, so a family with no young children is what he needs. He is potty trained, kennel trained, LOVES to go in the car and is always happy and excited to go on walks. His walks are still short but over time he will be able to go for 2 to 3 miles at a time (AND SHOULD). A lap, the couch, a dog bed in the sun, near your feet or snuggled up in a blanket are some of his favorites spots to be. He knows Sit, Lay Down, Kennel, Stay, Shake and High 5. Dexter enjoys spending time in the yard laying in the sun, catching balls and playing with his favorite toys. He will roll over for a good belly rub and then cuddle next you as long as you will let him. This boy will fill your heart and home with so much love and companionship. Dexter is stubborn when you ask him to come inside, he’s a talker when he gets excited, loyal and such a love. He makes his foster laugh daily with his trot and sun bathing antics. He hates the rain and loves to cuddle. He can't live with a dog that will jump on his back – it scares him because of all the pain he used to be in. Dexter is good with dogs, he wants to chase squirrels so probably not a good idea to live with cats.

If Dexter sounds like a perfect match please email us at puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com with "Dexter" as the subject line for an application - or use the button below to fill out our contact form.

Adoption Info

  • Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).

  • The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption.  Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.

  • Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.

  • As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications.  We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.

  • We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies.  We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.

  • The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:

-Puppy (Under 1 year old) $350 Fee (Plus a $200 Spay/Neuter Deposit for puppies under 4 months of age.

-Adult dogs  (1 + Years old) $250 Fee

  • The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption.  All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
