Penny
Penny is a silly, happy, food motivated, water loving frenchie baby.
Penny’s perfect forever family will be up for the medical needs of a frenchie!
Penny drips urine sometimes, not all the time but she drips, her bladder is very small, she has accidents randomly but she will also go potty outside.
Multiple Frenchie owners have shared that it took them over a year to potty train their Frenchie.
Penny has had x-rays, ultrasound and CT. She’s seen the specialist and all looks good!
She is fully kennel trained (eats and sleeps in her kennel) will pee and poop in her kennel, currently we change out the bedding 2x a day. She comes when called and loves to cuddle. Penny is very food motivated, smart and wants to learn!
True to breed Penny can be stubborn. Penny is pushy but takes corrections from dogs quickly. She loves to play with toys.
Penny chases cats but doesn’t hurt them if she catches them but she is persistent.
She loves kids, loves to chew on sticks… she loves to chew on anything and everything.
Penny’s perfect family will understand why insurance is required, these little medical nightmares are lovely but cost a lot to care for.
She has not worn a diaper because it can cause skin issues and UTI, if the adopters plan to have her wear one it must be changed often to keep her clean.

Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).

The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption. Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.

Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.

As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications. We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.

We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies. We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.

The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:
-Puppy (1 year or younger) $550 Fee
-Adult dogs (2+ years old) $450 Fee

The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption. All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
